It seems like everyone is in the midst of a heatwave and while Some Like it Hot (by “some” we mean “we” 😉 ), we also like to be glowing and hydrated. So take some notes because we are sharing some gems…
We know you were expecting that one, but here’s the deal. You can either drink half a gallon of water a day for amazing looking skin, or you can keep spending hundreds of dollars on skincare… Or both. We are all about that lavish life…But please, hydrate yourself and see how much your mood and skin changes.
The Summertime always brings a feeling of nostalgia for our youth, so this season is the perfect time to meditate and reflect on areas of your life that you feel need some extra attention. Some topics to kick off your journaling:
If the past few years have taught us anything, it’s that our time is so limited. Maximizing your time with your loved ones or simply doing things you enjoy is a necessity.
On the contrary, be sure to minimize your time doing things you don’t enjoy or spending time with those that drain you. We encourage you to be selfish these next 5 months and only do things that make you feel good.
Another one you hear all the time but committing to a good sunscreen routine is so worth the hype. As the years continue to get warmer, your skin is more susceptible to damage. We want to make sure you are not only wearing sunscreen on your body, but more importantly your face and your neck! You can find great sunscreens from makeup brands specifically to be worn under foundation without disrupting the appearance or application.
Lastly, we want to make sure you are living a life you love. Switch up your routine, go somewhere you normally wouldn’t, try a new hobby, try a new self-care routine, taste a new bubbly 😉, explore a new area, whatever it is, make sure its new, exciting and fun and see how your mood changes.
While Summer is quickly coming to a close, we encourage you to take these next 4-5 weeks and go full out, baby! A lot can change in a month and building lifelong habits that enrich your days don’t only have to be limited to a season.
